Sausage and Egg McMuffin

Easy like Sunday morning - Maccas style but in the comfort of your own home (and it won’t disappoint)
Ingredients
* 2 beef chipolatas (100% beef)
* 1 English muffin, halved
* 1 egg
* 1 slices burger cheese
* Butter (for spreading)
Method
1. Prepare the sausage patty
Remove the casing from the chipolatas. Shape the mince into a flat, round patty slightly larger than your muffin (it will shrink as it cooks).
2. Cook the sausage
Heat a frying pan over medium heat, Cook the sausage patty for 3–4 minutes on each side, or until golden and cooked through. I didn’t use oil spray as the sausage will leech fat out.
3. Cook the egg
In the same pan, wipe the sausage fat out with a paper towel, crack in your egg. Cook to your liking (fried with a soft or firm yolk).
4. Toast the muffins
Toast the English muffin halves until lightly golden.
5. Assemble
Butter the muffins, then layer:
* Cheese
* Sausage patty
* Fried egg
Top with the other half of the muffin
Serve immediately while warm, with melty cheese and a perfectly cooked egg. Add sauce is desire
