Date & Pistachio Bliss Balls

Pistachio Date Balls are a healthy way to satisfy any sweet tooth - you can pimp these up with protein powder for an extra protein kick - but if you’re like me always looking for that sweet pick me up treat at 3pm… then these are your go to and they’re healthy #winning
What you need

1 cup of pitted dates
1/2 cup of rolled oats (blitzed into oat flour)
1/2 cup of pistachios chopped.

Place the pitted dates in a bowl and pour hot water over them to soften. Leave them for about 10 minutes, then drain the water. Roughly chop your dates.
In the meantime pulse your oats into a fine powder and add your chopped pistachios.
Mix in your dates and use your hands to knead into a dough. Keep kneading the dough until all the dry nuts and oats are mixed into one dough ball.
Roll the desired size of the bliss balls and roll into more chopped nuts or drizzle with chocolate. .
Swap ups or add ins
Add choc chips, cardamom or sea salt.
Omit the pistachios for chopped almonds and roll in shredded coconut
