Sticky BBQ Beef Short Ribs

Some nights call for delicious, fall off the bone beef short ribs…
What you need

Beef short ribs - 6 bone-in
SPICE RUB
1tbsp brown sugar2 tsp paprika1 tsp garlic powder1 tsp onion powder1/2 tsp cumin powder2 tbsp Dijon mustard 1 tsp salt1/2 tsp black pepper
BARBECUE SAUCE:3 garlic cloves minced 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar2 cups water
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup Smokey bbq sauce (or original bbq)1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp Dijon mustard 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Preheat oven to 160°C
Mix Rub ingredients in a small bowl
Next rub Dijon mustard all over beef ribs and then add spice rub to coat all sides of the ribs. Set aside.
Mix all Barbecue Sauce ingredients and stir well enough to allow the brown sugar to dissolve.
Place meat side down in the sauce, bone side exposed
Bake 4.5 hours – Cover tightly.
At the 4.5hr mark - remove lid and turn ribs over. Spoon over sauce. Bake exposed for an additional 30 mins. Turning again after 15mins.
Ribs should be fall apart off the bone and sticky!
